Kensei iaido taikai is being held from establishment of Kensei Dojo in 2009. First one was held in 2010. The purpose of the event is to have a big competition with international participation in Czech Republic and of course in Kensei Dojo. Another purpose is to invite notable teachers and educate all iaidoka in Czech Republic with their help, thus improving quality of iaido in Kensei.

Challenge Trophy

Team tournament is the most prestigious category in all competition events. At Kensei Iaido Taikai, the victory is augmented by beautiful challenge trophy, which is held for one year by victorious team. It is a replice of japanese kabuto helmet, that belonged to Oda Nobunaga, one of the three unifiers of Japan.
